_SWEET ACACIA

Acacia Farnesiana or Acacia Smallii
Sweet Acacia

Price and Availability Inquiries - Click Here!

  • Nativity to sub-tropic regions of Americas creates a very durable tree.
  • Smaller sized multi-branched tree can be grown as a single or multi trunked tree
  • Fragrant golden puffballs appear in spring and late fall that hold on the tree for long periods of time
  • Dark green foliage and dark colored trunks make this tree stand out in any landscape
Ideal for patio or side applications where larger trees won’t fit, the Sweet Acacia performs very well in a variety of environments due to its smaller size, yet works well as a focal landscape tree due to its vibrant appearance. The Sweet Acacia presents a thick canopy with dark green leaves and a rich, dark brown trunk that may even reach black in appearance.

Sweet Acacias are easily recognized by their “sweet” smelling golden colored blooms which appear in Spring, but stay with the tree much longer than most other blooms. Sweet Acacia trees are common among landscape designs in the southwest, allowing landscapers a very strong effect with minimal space requirements that contrast well with almost any landscape.

Keep all of your trees healthy with regular applications of Moon Dust fertilizer and Supercharged Moon Juice for maximum performance.
