Triangle Palm (Dypsis decaryi)
As the name suggests, the Triangle Palm grows with the fronds emerging in a triangular arrangement, giving this tree a patterned structure unlike anything else commonly seen in Western landscapes. Native to Madagascar, these trees thrive during the summer months and are quite resilient to low care, mismanagement, and poor soils.
With proper care, Triangle Palms are capable of being grown indoors...however, they're best suited for outdoor applications, where their blue-green fronds are contrast beautifully with the rest of your tropical or desert style landscape.
