Whiteflies

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR

These small insects spread quickly from plant to plant, sucking out sap and vital nutrients. Whiteflies are mostly found during warm weather, congregating on the underside of leaves.

SIGN OF INFESTATION

Whiteflies can cause leaves to yellow and honeydew to form. If left untreated, affected leaves will die and fall off.

How to Treat

  1. Prevention – Eliminating weeds in your landscaping can help prevent infestations by minimizing habitat for whitefly to multiply and spread. You can also effectively prevent whitefly infestations through the application of a systemic insecticide at the onset of growing season.
  2. Fertilizer – Whiteflies damage their plant hosts by extracting sugars and nutrients from the leaves and stems. Give your plant its strength back with a combination of Super Charged Moon Juice and Moon Dust.
  3. Treatment – Combine a topical treatment with a systemic drench to get both a quick knockdown and lasting protection.
