Moon Valley Nurseries is committed to being a good steward of the environment and positively impacting our people and communities. Sustainability is a priority at Moon Valley and our trees are powerful tools in combating climate change. We are proud of the steps we have taken as part of our commitment to sustainability including publishing our inaugural 2021 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, hiring our first sustainability leader, conducting our first materiality assessment, collecting baseline greenhouse gas emissions data, and developing a roadmap of sustainability priorities and initiatives. However, we are not stopping there. We look forward to expanding on our sustainability efforts and hope you will join us on this journey to create a greener and more sustainable world!

Prioritizing People

And Communities

Moon Valley Nurseries believes that our team members are truly our greatest asset.

The health and safety of our employees is a top priority.

We are committed to offering competitive compensation and generous benefits, and we review these programs regularly to ensure they meet or exceed industry standards.

We understand and value the importance of a diverse workforce across all levels of our organization.

We rely on healthy soil, clean air, and access to water to grow our trees and plants and are proactive in our efforts to protect those basic elements of nature.

We continuously seek ways to save water and energy and reduce waste, including adding on-site solar, reusing and recycling materials such as wooden boxes and plastic pots, and conserving water through water-smart irrigation technologies.

Conducting business responsibly is integrated into all our activities, including the quality of the products we sell, how we manage our supply chain, and how we protect our customers’ data.We expect our employees to maintain high professional and ethical standards in all they do.We protect sensitive customer and company information through our cybersecurity efforts.

Being a vertically integrated company that grows 80% of all the trees we sell allows us to maintain strict control over how our trees are grown and our products are created.
