Our Story
Every great tree starts as a seed. So did we.
Back in 1994, a small pumpkin patch took root in Phoenix, Arizona. It was just a family with a passion for growing things well. That first harvest came in better than anyone expected, and by winter, the same care and hard work turned into a Christmas tree lot, filled with the best trees around. It didn't take long for neighbors to notice.
Those early seasons taught us everything we needed to know. In 1995, we planted our roots for good, founding Moon Valley Nurseries in the heart of Phoenix's own Moon Valley neighborhood. The idea was simple, and it still guides us today: treat every neighbor like family, and give them the best trees and plants, delivered with care.
That simple idea has grown into something much bigger — over 50 locations across the country, and a team that doesn't just plant your yard, but helps it flourish for years to come. We've never lost sight of where we started, or who we're doing this for.
