The Green Cassia is a rounded evergreen shrub that produces masses of bright yellow, pea-like flowers in the early spring. The flowers are followed by brown papery seed pods that are easily removed by shearing once flowering has ceased. It can reach 6 to 8 feet in height and width if left unpruned but can be informally pruned to control the size. Plant in full sun, reflected heat and provide good soil drainage.
"I had Moon Valley plant a few of these a few years ago at my home and I really enjoy the soft look they have and little yellow flowers. These are pretty much a plant and forget plant. I don't remember the last time I had to worry about caring for it past the occasional trimming and adding some Moon Juice. "
