Transform your landscape with the lush and versatile Cherry Laurel tree, also commonly referred to as the English Laurel. Originating from regions around the Black Sea, this evergreen tree is an ideal choice for creating natural privacy screens or hedges in small to medium-sized yards, patios, and even suitable for container planting.

The Cherry Laurel, scientifically known as Prunus laurocerasus, is celebrated for its glossy, dark green leaves which provide a dense, lush backdrop year-round. In spring, the tree comes alive with aromatic white flowers, which add a delicate, fragrant touch to your garden. These blossoms are followed by small, dark berries that attract birds and wildlife, adding another layer of interest to your landscape.

At Moon Valley Nurseries, we're committed to growing the finest Cherry Laurels. Our expertise in tree cultivation, combined with the use of the best rootstocks, ensures that each Cherry Laurel tree is healthy, robust, and ready to thrive in your landscape. We guarantee that every tree is a premium specimen, making it a top-quality addition to your outdoor space.

Planting a Cherry Laurel tree in your yard not only enhances privacy but also brings year-round beauty and elegance. Its fast-growing nature and adaptability to various soil types make it a popular choice among gardeners. Whether used as a standalone feature, as part of a hedge, or in a container, the Cherry Laurel tree is a practical and attractive addition to any landscape, offering both beauty and function.

Every time a plant is watered, the soil should be thoroughly saturated to a depth of at least 2 to 3 feet and at least as wide as a tree well. Very slow and deep watering is always recommended. During periods of extreme heat, we advise at least 1 additional time per week of watering for all varieties. For periods of heavy rain (1/2” or more) adjust accordingly by possibly skipping a watering session for that time.
