"Our home in Santa Cruz was built in 1885. In the early 2000's it was restored. We added Victorian gardens to honor house, but we needed privacy, as we live on a fairly busy street. Taking out our front lawns (good for conservation), we installed 40 Indian Laurel columns. This literally transformed the front yard space into a lovely, private, and somewhat mysterious entry to our home and gardens. Great work by MVN with regard to installation."

"This is a no-brainer choice for hedges meant to contain the visual boundaries of your own world, and keep the neighbor's world out. I have several houses, and use it in each for different challenges. Some I keep at 10 feet, but at one location I called in the Ficus brigade to help with a neighbor who built a 3 story house right on top of me, over looking my pool and garden and peering over my house. Imagine...Well, up went the ficus and 3 years later there is absolutely no evidence of this monster next to us. It's a full, thick continuous 50 foot hedge. However, keep in mind that the taller they go, the bigger the roots."

"We purchased a home 2 years ago in Palm Springs, and the previous owners had removed the hedge. We purchased 130 Large Ficus, 14 fruit trees, and 6 large olive tress from Moon Valley Nursery in Cochella and couldn't be happier. We had Moon Valley plant everything, and when we had an issue with a few trees some months later, Moon Valley came a switched them out for us. Our trees and hedge look amazing! The hedge is 10' tall and looks as if its been there a decade! Finally, I would also highly recommend their Moon Juice & Moon Green fertilizers. We had some existing tress and hedges that looked beat up and yellowed, and after using their fertilizer, they seemed to almost immediately look healthier and grow taller and thicker, so much so that even our gardener who had been working our property for years before we purchased it was shocked and asked "what are you feeding all the trees?""
