Lamb Hass Avocado

The Lamb Hass Avocado tree is a hybrid of the well-known Hass Avocado and Gwen Avocado. Bred to produce larger fruit, their fruiting season last from May-November. These trees have dark glossy green leaves and grow to be thick dense shade trees as well. Much like the Hass Avocado, they have a thinner easy to peel rind with flavorful greenish-yellow flesh. Its upright and compact growing habits make this tree a perfect fit for nearly all landscapes. These can also be planted with different varieties of Avocado to produce strong healthy yields.

Like other avocado varieties, the Lamb Hass Avocado prefers well-draining soil and can grow in nearly all regions in the West and Southwest. When first planting these trees, you want to water regularly to help establish strong healthy root systems. Pruning is very easy on these trees and needs to be done only when needed. These trees are evergreen so there is minimal cleanup as well.
