Powdery Mildew

WHAT IS POWDERY MILDEW

This fungal disease can affect a variety of plants, coating leaves in a white fungus and eventually causing them to fall off.

SIGN OF INFESTATION

Powdery mildew appears at the beginning of winter, typically affecting a plant’s leaves and stems. It can be identified by the white, dust-like substance it leaves on your plant’s leaves and stems.

How to Treat

  1. Prevention – Pruning is key when preventing mildew infestations. Keep plants properly thinned so that they receive adequate airflow and sunlight.
  2. Fertilizer – Leaves affected by powdery mildew are unsightly and often fall off prematurely. Give your plant the tools it needs to bounce back and grow fresh, healthy leaves with an application of Super Charged Moon Juice and Moon Dust.
  3. Treatment – Treat the infection both topically and internally with a combination of copper and systemic fungicide. Follow proper pruning practices to trim away affected foliage.
