Lantana is a vibrant, hardy flowering plant known for its clusters of small, multicolored blooms that can include shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, and purple. Native to tropical regions of the Americas and Africa, lantanas thrive in warm climates and are commonly used in gardens, containers, and landscapes for their ability to attract butterflies and pollinators. These plants are drought-tolerant and can grow in poor soils, making them ideal for low-maintenance settings. They are also resistant to many pests and diseases, further enhancing their popularity among gardeners.

Despite their beauty, lantana plants can be invasive in some areas, spreading rapidly and outcompeting native vegetation. In places like Australia and parts of the southern United States, they are considered noxious weeds. Additionally, their leaves and unripe berries are toxic to pets and livestock if ingested. Still, when managed properly, lantana offers long-lasting color throughout the growing season and can serve as a striking addition to both ornamental and wildflower gardens. Regular pruning helps control its growth and encourages more blooming.

"I own a grey house with a little color in the front yard. My wife wanted to change this, and we settled on a few things, but Lantana from MVN was one of them. This was a year ago, and these things are thriving and growing! They look great and add that 'pop' of color we were looking for!"

"If you are looking for a bulletproof ground color with color this is the answer. I cannot grow anything and I was able to grow these and my yard looks great. This is a perfect plant for my fellow black thumb people"
