Sweet Orange

Nothing says spring is around the corner like the fresh smell of orange blossoms filling the air. Oranges such as the popular Sweet Orange are used throughout the southwestern area because they are extremely easy to grow and have a low seed count. These are multi-purpose orange as well! Use these sweet fruits in cooking, juicing, cocktails, beers, or a healthy snack right off the tree.

Sweet Orange trees will begin to bloom in late winter or early spring and by summer the fruit has set and little green Sweet Oranges will start growing into beautiful, bright, healthy oranges ready to be picked by early to mid fall. These are small to medium-sized fruit trees that work in all landscape applications. These citrus trees can be used to create a bit of shade, as a focal point, on patios and in pots and to create a beautiful living hedge.
