What Our Plant Covers

Peace of mind for the seasons ahead.

Tips from the Moon to protect your trees this winter:

Water a day or two before a freeze. Moist soil holds warmth better than dry soil.

Cover sensitive or newly planted trees overnight, then uncover them in the morning.

Check that your double stakes and ties are snug before winter winds kick up.

Stick to your Moon Valley Nurseries watering schedule. Overwatering in winter is as risky as underwatering.
